DSA Subdivision

Overview

A Subdivision is required when land is divided into two or more lots or for a consolidation or resubdivision of lots.

How to Apply

You must have a MAPPS Customer Self Service account in order to apply online. Complete the information in all the steps in MAPPS CSS then upload the required documents and plans related to your application. To avoid delays in processing your application, please follow these guidelines:

  • The Description should be the name of the subdivision.
  • Add any contacts that should be associated to the case.
  • Attach all required forms and any other documents/plans that are relevant to the review of your application.

Fees

Subdivision application filing fee for 5 lots or less is $250 plus $50 per development lot or for 6 lots or more is $400 plus $100 per development lot.  Where subdivision improvements are required, Construction Plan review fee is $200 per lot. 

Construction Plans

  • Construction Plan Review – after the Preliminary Plat review you may upload the construction plans as a Sub-Record through the Subdivision Permit. In your MAPPS Dashboard open the Subdivision Application case, select the Sub-Records button and click the Apply button next to Subdivision Construction Plan Review.
  • Design standards for submitting plans

All plans shall be uploaded as Civil & Site Work Plans for plan sets up to 100 sheets. For larger sets, separate plans into specific plan types (i.e. Electrical Plans or Landscape Plans).
